Mark Filk is a  graduate completing his Master’s of science in Physiotherapy at Queen Margaret University in Scotland. Mark had an interesting career, after completing his Bachelor of Economics at Carleton University in 2016, he yearned for a career that was more fulfilling to him. He sought out courses in massage therapy and personal training and rehab courses for the elderly in Montréal. Although he’s a newly graduate physiotherapist, his experience working in the field has accumulated to 9 years in 2025.

Mark’s personal training and massage background has given him the opportunity to work alongside physiotherapists in various clinical and private settings. Mark has worked with ages ranging from 12 to 93 presenting with various conditions.

Mark thoroughly enjoys treating patients of all ages and levels of activity. He puts a lot of emphasis on shared decision making with the patient so both parties have a mutual understanding in the treatment and rehabilitation plan. Part of the includes goal setting with the patient and sees it that your goals are also his own.
